Small Town Bank will be merging with & becoming part of Southern States Bank soon. As part of this change, STB has sent out an Accounts & Services Conversion Guide to help answer any questions you may have as a Small Town customer. If for some reason you have not received your guide, please visit your local branch & they can provide one to you or answer any questions you may have regarding the upcoming merger. ONLINE BANKING / MERGER NEWS

Beginning Monday, September 16, 2019, you will access the online banking system through the Southern States Bank website at www.southernstatesbank.net.  Beginning at noon on Thursday, September 12, 2019, you will be unable to process transfers or bill payments on the Small Town Bank online banking system, due to the conversion process. Any check images or statements prior to September 16, 2019, will not be visible on Southern States Bank’s online banking. If you need a copy of a check or statements prior to this date, please visit your local branch.

Your User ID will remain the same unless you have been notified. Your initial password will be the last 4 digits of your tax identification number (Social Security Number). If you are unable to access your account online, please contact your local branch.

Multi-Factor Authentication: During your initial log-in, you will be prompted to complete a few steps for the purpose of user authenticity. This process is an added security measure to protect our online banking customer information.

Once you have established your new password, you will be able to download the Southern States Bank Online Banking App from the App Store or the Google Play Store. This will give you access to your account while you are on the go. Within our App you will be able to see account balances, make transfers between Southern States Bank accounts, see statements, pay bills, and deposit checks (this service must be activated at a branch).

Note for Bill Pay Users: Your payments will still be processed as normal. You will have access to all history during this time period. All your payees will remain in your account. Beginning on Monday, September 16, 2019, you will be able to access bill pay through the Southern States Bank online banking system.
